Been looking at club flyers for a while now and often see flyers which are jam packed with too many colour schemes, different fonts and pictures.

Just designed this (above) using various free fonts and brushes trying to keep it simple using only two fonts and 2 colours. Click for larger image.

Bernard Hermann

Barnard Hermann, Hitchcock, Saul Bass, all geniuses at work, which when put together become and unstoppable force.

Bernard Hermann’s music in particular encapsulates and enhances the mood in every film. Vertigo, Psycho, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Cape Fear and the song twisted nerve which was featured in Kill Bill.

All hugely successful movies and the reason for this I think is largely to do with the musical score.
