Useless, but great...like a Rubik's Cube

A drive by of useless websites that make me laugh:

1)
This site delivers awesome but at the same time ridiculous quotes that are thrown at DJs every night.
canyouplaythatonesong.com

2)
"decontextualized video comments become modern pieces of poetry"
In other words, quotes off the internet that are funny/sick/weird/interesting.
thatwasepic.com

3)
Same stuff here, but just from Youtube.
youtubesunshine.com

4)
A look into other peoples birthday parties around the world...Brilliant!
sorryimissedyourparty.com

5)
Infinite amounts of fun as the public post their definitions of slang.
urbandictionary.com

6)
Speaks for itself

So you don't want to be Googled uh?

Widdle Me This

Widdler is one of my favourite dubstep artists at the moment. His melodic hypnotic tracks are just what I need after a hard day’s work.

This track is in an eastern reggae styli with a nice rolling base, top draw track.

The Widdler - Positive Vibes

Great jazzy dub track using flute, muted trumpet and korg style synth. Some spacey progressive effects and great samples finish off this track.

Missfit Jazz Widdler vs Rumble Junkie

In addition, I should mention that some of his tracks are harder, darker and dirtier using tough bass lines that resonate and snares that slap you across your face.

‘Go Ask Alice’ is a perfect example of this. Samples from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas bring a dark edge to the track.

Mistabishi - Pinter Jam

The main bones of the mix sample a printer, and amazingly it's the one I have! an Epson stylus colour 600! ( most probably a few others aswell)

claim to fame aside, this is a great track to go crazy and do the robot too so enjoy!

Dub Pistols - Back to Daylight

The cooler than cool Dub Pistols are here again with a new easy listening summer chill track that's been on repeat all day. It's off their new album titled Rum & Coke.

I love how the video uses the warmth of the orange glow to create that summer feel including lots of colour and contrast in the edit. Great slow motion camera work and thrown focuses to create a laid back mood that suits the music perfectly.

Watch, listen and Enjoy!
