Chase and Status - 26th March - Komedia - Bath

Last Friday was Chase and Status at Komedia - Bath.

Rather disappointingly there was only status there leaving chase out. I presume they are double booked so that there can only be one Dj at a time, therefore they make double the money for the one name!

It was an amazing night none the less and I had a great time filming on stage and around the venue.

ENTARAINMENT Final Video

A sunny day outside but inside I was busy finishing off two edits.

The video was primarily made for promotional use for the 'Entarain' brand name and the different nights it hosts. This video will hopefully entice, remind and excite the viewers to come to an Entarain night if they already haven't been to one.

The video was completed just a week after the night. Here it is...

Endemol Music Video Shoot

Over the past couple of weeks we have had a variety of bands into the Endemol Studios in Bristol to capture live music performances for band promotional use. The videos captured will also be used for editing assessments within the university.

The talented music students at Bath Spa covered a diverse mixture of music from funk, ska, jazz and pop influences keeping each shoot interesting for the crew.

The crew we had consisted of students and established professionals although the director seemed to take a back seat when he saw us on the cameras. Eventually the students took direction of the whole shoot advising people with cameras and lighting. Each band also had a short interview after the shoot which really let the audience see what the band was like. The final videos and interviews will be up next week.

ENTA-RAIN-MENT

On Friday 19th a big new Urban event called 'Entarain' was born. Specifically this time for club Xl(Formerly known as Cadillac).
I was asked to Dj as well as take photographs and video for the event which as expected turned out to be a challenging task. I played everything from Funky house, UK funky, UK garage, Oldskool RnB and some Reggae.


While I was taking the photographs & video my mate Ram took the place on the decks in the second room. I then took video of the events going on in the main rooms such as Mcing.
The night was a huge success and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
I hope to see another Enta-rain-ment event soon in the future.
